Ricketts said, “My husband was inspired to join the Army after his brother was killed in combat in Iraq. The courage and commitment it takes to serve our great country and what it stands for is remarkable and deserves to be recognized. Thank you to all those who serve and to USSSA for acknowledging this with Military Appreciation Night!”

Military Appreciation Night will be observed throughout the game.
